Interview Planning
Schedule a round, link materials, and open its review.
Interview Planning
Prepare the time, role, and materials in Interview Planning, then select the plan in Desktop Settings โ Current Interview.
A plan is optional: you can also select materials directly in Desktop.
Create a Plan
At minimum, fill in company, role, date, and time for reliable reminders and review tracking.

Associate Interview Materials
- Prepare and confirm your materials.
- In the plan, select one candidate material set and one role material set, plus relevant supporting notes.
- Save the plan. Select it in Desktop Settings โ Current Interview, then check the plan name, languages, and material titles.
Confirm materials before use
Voice and text questions can use the confirmed materials. Creating a plan alone does not make unconfirmed files available. Screenshot Ask uses the current image only.
How Desktop applies a plan
| Plan content | Effect after Desktop loads it |
|---|---|
| Company and role | Shown as the current interview context so you can confirm the right round |
| Interview language and programming language | Applied to this round's voice and coding answers |
| Candidate and role materials | Used as core background for Voice Ask and text questions |
| Selected Additional Knowledge | Added as supporting project, case, and technical context; you can also keep a local cheatsheet open for quick reference |
| Round, format, platform, and reminder | Kept in the plan and calendar for scheduling and review; they do not override Desktop models or answer preferences |
Models, answer preferences, and shortcuts stay in Desktop settings. Use Cmd/Ctrl + D to change the answer direction for the next question.
Status and Actions
- Upcoming / In Progress / Completed / Expired for timeline visibility
- Enter Interview to start an interview session
- Interview Review and Notes to open the linked session review, or the plan-filtered review list when no session exists yet
- Reschedule to adjust date/time and key fields
Session Linking and Summary
After the interview, Desktop automatically links the current session to the plan. Choose View Review in plan details to open it; the review links back to the plan.
Write your recap in My notes. The AI report is read-only. A useful recap records the key question, what worked, and one change for the next round.
Reusing a plan or linking a session manually
- Plan details show the current linked session. Older sessions remain in All Reviews; bookmark rounds you want to compare.
- In Review, filter by a plan or choose Unlinked plans to find sessions without one.
- The session picker only offers draft or not-started sessions. It cannot replace the current link with a started or completed historical session.
