Live transcription and answers

Switch between Auto and Manual in the voice panel to control when questions are submitted.

  1. Auto mode: follows interviewer questions by default and submits when a complete question is detected.
  2. Manual submission: when asking a question yourself, or waiting for a longer question to finish, press ⌘ / Ctrl + Enter.
  3. To include your own spoken questions, select “Interviewer + candidate” under Advanced settings → Auto-submit scope. Complete candidate questions can then trigger automatic submission.

Select and capture any area of your screen for AI analysis and a suggested approach. Use it for code, charts, whiteboards, and interview questions in apps or webpages.

  1. Use the screenshot button or ⌘ / Ctrl + H to select an area.
  2. Check that the full question is legible, then submit it.
  3. Review the answer and reasoning, and check any suggested code.

Grant permissions

Allow screen, mic, and audio capture so the assistant can surface context in real time.

shield_lockAll permissions are local-only and can be revoked anytime.

For macOS

Allow the prompt when it appears. If you missed it, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, enable permissions, then relaunch.

For Windows

Usually no extra steps. On managed devices, run as admin once to unlock capture permissions.
